That playful but potent remark was the catalyst of Chase’s acting career. But the joke was on her: he actually did it and (spoiler alert) he actually loved it! He has been performing since seventh grade, starting out in theatre and soon thereafter expanding his talents from stage to screen. Chase studied at UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television, where he received his B.A. in Theatre. For him, acting was never a question of ‘if’ but a question of ‘when’. He has always been drawn to dramatic roles, having a keen interest in the nuances of those roles. But with strong improv instincts, wit, and comedic timing, he also works very well in comedic roles. Blah blah, that’s great and all but who cares? A college-trained white actor, started out in theatre, studied at UCLA, can sing, etc... but what makes him different? Faith is a core part of who Chase is. It’s the reason he’s an actor in the first place. He hopes to bring others closer to God by modeling what it looks like to be a true follower of Jesus and by spreading the same contagious, revolutionary love with the world that Jesus used to transform it.
